Students must reach the bus stop at least five minutes before the arrival time.
Buses will not wait for latecomers.
No student should approach the entry door of the bus unless it comes to a complete halt. They should enter the bus in an orderly manner and take their seats immediately.
The bus drivers are authorized to stop the buses at the DESIGNATED STOPS ONLY unless and otherwise directed by the bus teacher. The list of designated stops has been formulated keeping in view the convenience and safety of the students and you are required to adhere to the same.
Children of KGI to Grade II must be dropped and picked up from the bus stop by the parent/caretaker. If the person is not at the bus stop the child will be brought back to school and the parent will have to pick up the child from school.
Parents are not allowed to enter or travel in the bus at any time.
Students should not move around in the bus while it is in motion.
Trash or objects of any kind should not be discarded inside or thrown out of the bus.
The driver’s attention should not be distracted for any reason.
The bus nannies/ teachers and bus monitors are responsible for maintaining discipline in the buses. Any serious offense will be reported to the Bus Supervisor
Children will not be allowed to board buses, other than their own allotted bus.
Students are requested to refrain from taking leave on the first and last day of each term.
All leave taken must be recorded, the parent must send the email to registrar & Class Teacher.
Minimum attendance requirement is 95 percentage. Any barriers to punctuality and regular attendance will be identified and addressed as swiftly as possible by introducing and reinforcing the policy below.
No long leave of absence except for illness will be granted unless applied for in writing to the HOS/Principal and in advance.
Students who have been sick should send a medical certificate from their doctor. A copy of the certificate should be submitted and signed in the school clinic for follow up if required.
Inform the school in the event of a student contracting an illness or suffering an injury which is likely to involve an absence of 3 days. Medical notes will be required for absences of 3 or more days.
Due to any reason if you intend to pick up your child early kindly note:
1. Early pick-up email must have the following details - Name of the student, Admission number, Grade, and section.
2. The request should be sent via an email to info@ wooodlempark.ae by 9.00 am
3. To approve early pick valid documents, and reason for the same must be given.
4. Request to change from bus to OT should be sent to [email protected] by 9.00 am.
