The Kindergarten at Woodlem Park, Al Jurf, follows the Early Years Foundation Stage & National Curriculum Framework. This is a two year journey of discovery and exploration spread over KG 1 and KG 2. This is an exciting time for a child to explore, learn, interact with other children and have fun while at the same time gain confidence, grow in independence, develop cognitive, affective and motor capabilities. We provide concrete, multi-sensorial and relevant experiences. This being the Foundation stage, the curriculum is theme based, designed and mapped with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. (EYFS) & NCF focusing on the seven areas of development of Early years. All children arrive at school with distinct learning needs and experiences, hence tailoring the environment and learning becomes a very important tool in helping us achieve the learning goal of all the students. Teachers make effective use of their observations to adapt to the learning environment that enables children to build on what they already know and can do.
